Bed made of Hardened & Grounded Guideways of Nickel Chromium alloy Cast Iron of Grade 26 with hardness BHN 350, prismatic guideways.

HS & TS legs: Made of Grade 25 cast iron with thickness 12 to 15 mm.

Head Stock: Made of high-quality FG25 cast iron, with center height, center distances & co-axial tolerances within 0.01 mm.

Main Spindle: Case hardened alloy steel. Spindle taper bore and bearing ODs provide runouts within 0.003 to 0.004 mm.

Feed Box: Maintains center distances and co-axial ovality within 0.01 mm.

Tailstock: Tolerance 0.02 mm.

Head Stock Gears: Made of case-hardened steel 20MnCr5. Induction hardened gear teeth (55 to 60 HRC), profile ground to class 6e accuracy. Noise level: 80 dB. Case depth: 0.5 to 0.7 mm. Built with reference to ISI878/1979 Part-1.

Headstock bottom "V" and flat surfaces scraped for proper seating with 20 to 24 points per 25 x 25 mm square.
